Martha Rose Rimes Graham
Martha Rose Rimes Graham died January 1, 2014. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the things she loved. She was married to her beloved husband Bobby Graham, who passed away in 2000, for 49 years. She was the only child and cherished daughter of Ruth and Wiley Rimes.
Mother of Chris Graham, Dru Wilcher, and Michael Graham, all of Savannah. She was the grandmother of Tara Graham Little Johnny, Chad Graham and John Michael Wilcher, and great-grandmother of Malorie Little and Alexis Wilcher. Martha was aunt to many nieces and nehews, and a friend to many.
Her lifetime was filled with happiness and she was worked as a bridal consultant for many years at The Hitching Post Boutique. In the last years of her life she was cared for by her dedicated and loving son Michael and several wonderful ladies who became her angels on earth. Delores Donaldson, Sabrina Jones, Maxine Scott, Mattie Johnson, Ruth Hunter, and Mary Broadnax, all lovingly care for Mrs. Graham and contributed to her happiness in her final years. Additionally care, support, and love were given by Tonya, Lori, and Drew from Spanish Oaks Hospice.
She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by those who cherished her presence on earth and shared her love.
There will be an intimate gathering at the graveside to remember her life, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
